About
Ess Man

Ess Man was born and raised in Detroit.  He’s always had a love of Hip Hop and put his musical ear to use at an early age by linking with D12 and Eminem in a producer capacity.  He perfected the Detroit sound producing tracks for Proof, MC Breed and D12.  Upon moving to Los Angeles, Ess Man met Sticky Fingaz of Onyx fame and the two formed a mutual appreciation for each others craft.  Ess Man produced four tracks on Sticky’s second solo album “Decade” as well as Fredro Starr’s album “Don’t Get Mad, Get Money”.  In addition, Ess scored Sticky’s movies “A Day In The Life” and “Caught On Tape”.  Both are progressive, Hip Hop musical feature films.  Ess’ production credits also include DMX, Paradime, Melanie Rutherford, Slum Village and Method Man. He’s placed songs in the film “Crossover” and the acclaimed television series “Over There”.
